Ashrams and Soul Rays
As humanity evolves (in consciousness) and is more and more 'soul-infused', we participate more and more in the work of the Ashrams of the Masters, guided by their wisdom, which becomes our wisdom as we become more soul-infused and group conscious.
Each Ashram is influenced and coloured by one of the seven 'Rays', and we belong to an Ashram according to our 'Soul Ray'. Every social system in the world is influenced by a particular Ashram and its Ray.
How can you tell your Soul Ray and which Ashram you belong to?
One of the ways is to see where you spend your time, energy and enthusiasm. What is your 'work' or occupation in the world?

1st Ashram / Ray 1 (Will and Purpose)
Oversees governments which are dedicated to the welfare of citizens. Sees how everything is synthesized and connected as One. Sees the bigger picture.
2nd Ashram / Ray 2 (Love Wisdom)
Overseas education, the healing arts and helping professions. Discovery of the unique gifts and innate wisdom of each individual.
3rd Ashram / Ray 3 (Active Intelligence)
Economics and business. Creating the right distribution of resources to ensure the sustenance of all life. The business world is ideally suited for this as long as it rises above the 'personality' consciousness.
4th Ashram / Ray 4 (Harmony through Conflict)
Culture, the Arts, including the 'art of living' and the 'art of language'. 'Beauty bears witness to the Divine': beauty is the gateway to Divinity. United Nations and mediation skills. The bridge between the past and the future.
5th Ashram / Ray 5 (Concrete Knowledge / Science)
Science. Understanding the science of human consciousness, and that consciousness underlies all that exists. The day will come when science proves the existence of the Soul. Everything will change when this happens. 'Death as we perceive it will be gone'.
6th Ashram / Ray 6 (Devotion / Idealism)
Religion. No more theological exclusivity. Instead inclusivity and an understanding of the connectedness of everything and everyone. The great illusion of humanity is the illusion of separativeness. 'Evil is rooted in the perception of separativeness'.
7th Ashram / Ray 7 (Ceremonial Order and Magic)
The grounding ray. Not connected to a particular social institution. The 'manifestors' who support all other 6 Ashrams. Bringing heaven to earth, rebuilding the world based upon a sense we can re-pattern the way things are done and more in alignment with Truth. The ray of practical mysticism.
